The local mobile application development is one of the available sources to advertisers to distribute their content via Smartphone and digital tablets using mobile apps for iPhone, Android, mobile friendly websites, etc.

What is a local application and what are the key statistics of the market?

What are the benefits of an advertiser’s point of view?

How to develop and what costs does it take?

What is a local mobile application and what are the key figures of the market?

A local application or mobile application (or Apps) is an application designed particularly for one platform (a type of mobile OS) with Software Development Kit (SDK). A mobile application developed using this specific language will be offered only on the online store associated with the SDK. You cannot see or install an iPhone apps on a BlackBerry, and vice versa.

On July 10, 2008, Apple launched an Apps Store in conjunction with the IOS 2.0. Since there are over 500,000 iphone applications available for their devices like the iPhone and the iPad, with an average of 75 apps downloaded per user. In 2011, the App Store passed the 15 billion downloaded applications. On the other hand, Google with its Android Apps Market crossed the milestone of 10 billion downloaded.

What are the interests of an advertiser point of view to offer a mobile application?

In 2011, according to a study released by research firm Flurry, for the first time in the United States, the time of Internet users to use applications on PDAs and tablet. The mobile users spend an average 81 minutes per day on mobile apps as compare to 74 minutes browsing from computers. It is also clear from this study that the number of daily sessions per user gains, but that they are shorter than before on the web.

Both, developing Mobile Apps for Small Business and Creating Content for Mcommerce Sites are huge in demand.

How to develop a local mobile application and what costs does it take?

The iPhone has long been the priority of mobile application developers. With the rise of competition, including leading global android now, it comes to being vital to target multiple systems.

There are “frameworks” to develop an application in one language and then deploy it on different mobile devices on the market:
There are “frameworks” to develop a mobile application in one language and then distribute it on different mobile devices on the market:

Rhomobile: written in Ruby and dedicated to native mobile applications.

PhoneGap: based on the trio HTML + CSS + Javascript and applications dedicated to local for devices running on iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Blackberry, Bada and SymbianOS.

Appcelerator: a little less complete than PhoneGap level compatibility with mobile devices, but can compile the application made in HTML + CSS + javascript for Android and iOS. It also enables applications Linux, Mac and Windows.

Before developing a mobile application, you must explain the functions we make attainable to users. This will determine the cost of development. It is of course likely to combine various functions into one application.

“To know estimated cost of Mobile Application Development for iPhone, Android, Blackberry or Windows Based –please Get a free quote.”

When the application is finalized, it must submit to different platforms. Once the application is validated, it will be available in stores. There should be an additional cost of $ 99 for an individual, $ 300 for a company on the Apple App Store and $ 25 on the android market.

In short, developing a mobile application on different mobile devices is no longer a mission as expensive and time-consuming than it was before. However, for an ideal user experience, mobile application should be designed and developed professionally.

Overall, guidelines and a process of SEO are not different from one site to another, but here, an e-commerce site has specificity. Some are beneficial while others may be useless. Let’s see some mistakes to avoid and actions to optimize the positioning of an online store.

An online store has an advantage over many other sites. It is possible to generate many pages specific since in general; there is one page per product sold.

However, this advantage can turn into a nightmare for several reasons. The two bullet points being the risk of duplicate content with other sites, and the lack of pages optimized for generic terms.

PRODUCT PAGE OPTIMIZATION:
It is common to find online shops on which the content of the pages of details of products is an exact recovery of the photo and text description provided by the manufacturer. It is same for the title of the product as well. It does mean that if you copy the content, and then you have the less chances to show up your pages in the first 10 results of Google. There is a possibility that your competitors will copy the things you copied as well, and in this circumstance, why it will not be going to show up in Google because of duplicate title and Meta of the product pages.

To overcome this problem, writing a unique title and a single description is almost vital. To go further and play it safe, you can even create a second description will only be sent to the shopping engines.

OPTIMIZE ITEM PAGES:
What is being containing in your item page? Like, each detail of an item should be mentioned in a way that allows users to find out the criteria for which they come to this page and call them to place an order at the end.

An effective ecommerce solution is to write an introduction, optimized for each page of topics. It then offers Google a real textual content optimized with whom Google will love and your page will be favored in comparison with those of your competitors. Beware, if the pages in your ecommerce website contain sections pagination, only display the text content on the first page, to avoid the risk of duplicate content.

DESIGNING A FAQ:
It is amazing that people can communicate with Google as a person. They ask questions to Google, like a friend. However, Google is a big beta, when you ask a question; it seeks the issue in the pages it has indexed, not the answer.

Therefore, by designing FAQ, you can position yourself on these issues and gain the corresponding traffic.

SETUP A BLOG:
Setting up a blog for your ecommerce website is actually very profitable. The blog makes it very easy to position hundreds of requests for strategic activity of the shop.

However, it will not be too intelligent “buggers” in terms of commercial items. The blog will be better received if it provides advice or information about the universe rather than always trying to sell something.

CONTENT OPTIMIZATION:
If you have notices in all above tips, it is an editorial content, which is not optimized, to make it optimized, it require having some foundation of keyword phrases based on the content.

Of course, this content will benefit from net linking to give the best of them.

I am quite exciting about this post as I often forget my traditional wallet, and I find the Google’s recent launch of Google Wallet is the best solution for me. It has been only launched for Sprint Nexus 4G users now. It was first announced in May and has been launched just before two days ago. It is a virtual mobile payment system, which works in your mobile phone only if it supports Google Android OS. Primarily, it is a free Android app. I appreciate that Google’s android developers have developed such a wonderful application that enables us to tap, pay and save on the virtual version of our MasterCard, etc.

At this point, the only NFC compatible mobile phone is the Sprint Nexus S 4G. However, Google has desired that future Android based mobile handsets will inlay the NFC chip, which can allow other types of handsets to become compatible. There are few competitors there in the race of offering virtual wallet services today and it is a great opportunity for mobile application developers to develop such application that will be compatible to iPhone and other segments of Smartphone in near future.

At the beginning, Google Wallet will only be ready for use at selected retail merchants. The retailers who will commence accepting Google Wallet shortly following the launch incorporate the popular enabled merchants. At contributing retailers, users can merely tap their phones on the subscriber, immediately dispatching payment card data.

While Google’s virtual Wallet app may be strange and is certain to bring up security questions, customers should be well-informed that the NFC handsets are more secure than plastic payment cards. Even so, it may be hard to attract careful end users to leave the familiarity of plastic payment cards and commence utilizing the new mobile payment mode. In order to prompt users to perform the alteration, some type of enticement may require to be tendered.

Here is a demo (video) and a Getting Started Guide for Google Wallet!

Those who own website may be aware of what Google Panda is. It is related to the content of the website. It was second time when Google Panda was updated in June 2011. It was just like the shocking moment for someone whose website was penalized and party time for those who have already cared about their website content. You are now exciting to know more about the part that was most influencing or responsible to the reduction in traffic and the search engine ranking. If so, you need to analyze the content of the website affected by Google Panda update first. You will quietly notice the copied, auto generated or lower quality content on it.

This change was being affected to 12% of US search results. Later, this update, Matt Cutt of Google has given a statement that this update was one of the changes in Google Algorithm that keeps eyes on the website having low quality content and engaging in the content farming activities to minimize the amount of spam and visibility of such websites in search engine results. The frequency of this update will be continued until it returns the most relevant and trustworthy results. So, be careful hiring the content writing and SEO services.

Google Panda Algorithm Update

Now, what is the solution to avoid being penalized from Google Panda?

It is all about the Content, so you need to focus on the area of Content Optimization, which should be,

Original, unique, interesting and relevant to the audience

Keyword rich content – matched with your pages’ keyword strategy

Likeable so that it will be shared by the people into various social media channelsHigh quality content like informative and reliable

Google’s aim is to return the most relevant and reliable results to the seeker, and through the panda update Google rewarded those sites that are formulating original content and punished those who copied the content. It is always prominent in target on quality over quantity, and we should all struggle to make our websites convenient and relevant to our target audience. The panda update is just a prompt that developing a website is also about edifice responsibility with our viewers, not only to surge in our ranking, but also to gain conversion.

Yesterday, when I was preparing a post for the Kaushalam Blog on Software and Application Development, eCommerce, Internet Marketing, SEO, I had noticed a change in Google PR on the Firefox toolbar of this blog. I do not believe that I had got 2 out of 10. Before this update, it was just a zero. I was thinking that it might be a technical error in the toolbar so suddenly I have decided to search on Google to find any announcement or news release distributed by Google Official Blog or into any other resources. It was confirmed that Google has updated their Pagerank. This was second Google PR Update in 2011. On 20 January 2011, Google had announced a first PR update for the year 2011. At that time, the Kaushalam Blog did not possess any PR.

Google PageRank Update of Kaushalam Blog

What Google PageRank reflects? Is it just the rank to your blog or website? In my words, Google PR is the results of the SEO efforts you have made. Quality of the Content, Coding following Google Guidelines, Sufficient Inbound links, User-friendly site structure and navigation, loading speed, etc., have been taken into consideration while building your website for targeted audience and search engines. Not all these factors are enough to be noted and have a bad impact to the SEO results of your site. It is interesting to determine the SEO results. I have put SEO results in two main categories according to the time frame that a SEO expert can determine,

In a Short Term, one can determine the following SEO results:

Monthly Traffic using Google Analytics

Ranking into Google Search Results Page

Tracking Conversion using Google Analytics

For a Long Term SEO Results, it is better to rely on the Google Pagerank.

If you find the traffic and ranking to your website going down, then it will be definitely affected the page rank of your website in next page rank update.

Whenever Google announces a Page rank update, you can put together all these reports, and analyze them to decide the new SEO strategy until the new update will come.

Let’s share your thoughts on this topic if you find any PageRank update to your website or blog.
